My favorite area was without question the newbie farm by anshelm.  I lost many a character to that damn horse snowflake.  Man was I thrilled when Belly helped me get my vengeance on him…

I’ve been meaning to replace that farm for newbies . . .
Right now I’m rewriting some big NPCs in Indel and adding a new area, so Snowflake Risen will have to wait.

As an aside, Indel is really disappointing.  It’s a HUGE city, but much of it is strangely empty.

From then and now, Candera will always be THE city.

Has everything from newbie to aristohood.

Candera is the place to be, Candera, Candera, the women here are oh so fresh!

Candera back in the day for the most part.. killin camels.. riding camels.. highs had the best gear.. then crunch and behr would be wondering around

now its hard to say, but i like the Island.. and all the new fighter goodies in anshelm

Yeah, Candera is one of my favourite places.  Those Highs were always on my to-kill list - crystal leggings and stone breastplate were top bits of gear.  And great axes!  At one stage, one of the most sought after weapons.

The old Indel from 93-94 was home to my arch-nemesis Wolfgang.  That mutt killed me so many times.  I must own up to having subdued him on occasion, unshackling him in Vesla to run riot.  not quite on the scale of the water dragon in Numbs though.

...Or the water dragon in the city smelter. Or worse, Puff there. Or worse, Flash putting him at vent.

How wolfgang killed you, I blissfully remember the OLD indel. How Crows and co. put all their guilds there...he foresaw the future (or did he?) when he used to tell me, Indel is gonna be the next big thing.

If I had one nemesis with my fighter, Id have to say itd be Valient, the White Knight.

I got my head lopped off so many times with Qwerty, he is truly the REAL KNIGHT, for defending his king.

No wonder Samoan and Diamond loved that axe so much!

I like Anshelm - plenty of good areas for area spells!
I must explore it a bit better though.  I hear there are some nice items about!

My favorite city is definitely Pylus.

It is absolutely packed with secrets and xp areas. All kinds of tasks, cool NPCS, individualized areas, etc. It also has a cool atmosphere that none of the other cities match. The other cities have dead areas, or stuff that is pretty much useless, but virtually all of Pylus has a purpose or a secret involved somehow.
