Favorite song?  Ye gods, I don’t think I can limit myself to one favorite song per genre, let alone just one song for the entire world of music.

However, my iPod tells me that my top song is “Laid,” by James, narrowly edging out “Last Stop: This Town” by the Eels and “Neighborhood #3: Power Out” by the Arcade Fire.  “Comfort Eagle” by Cake, “Bells Are Ringing” by They Might Be Giants, “Presto” by Rush, “The Drinking Song” by Moxy Fruvous, “Son Of Sam” by Elliott Smith, “Hercules” by Midnight Oil and “Nemesis” by Shriekback round out the top 10.

Don’t feel so bad; the only song that anyone else has cited that I own is “Walking With A Ghost” (Shams is right, it is a darn good song), although I do have some “anything” from Tool and Pantera.

iTunes says the most played is C’mon C’mon by the Von Bondies, followed closely by Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones.

First of all, you guys listen to some stuff I have never even heard of.  Not that hard to do really.

My favorite song is Amazing Grace followed closely by What a Wonderful World

Is that version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow the one is Finding Forrestor---I like that one?

Yes I listen to happy music...I have to in order to stop prevent myself from choking people out!
