Hm, recently I have been liking Poet Laureate III, but I’m also liking Miley Cyrus’s new stuff.

I’ve recently rediscovered The Offspring and have been listening to Gone Away quite a bit.  It makes me think of my dad, and how much I miss him sometimes.

“Titties and Beer” or “Dynamo hum” by Frank Zappa.  Those are today’s favorites smile

Why does that not surprise me…

No favorite songs at the moment unless toddler songs count?  If it isn’t sports talk in the car it is usaully toddler songs with a 2 year old in tow.

Blame the kiddie music on the two-year old ... We love you anyway, Heimdall, you don’t have to mask your love of Barney or Thomas the Tank Engine or the fact that you know all the words to Raffi’s “Baby Beluga”.  We know those are all your CDs, not the kid’s.

My child has found Barney, I think the babysitter turned her on to him.  I acutally own a couple of Barney DVDs now.  The cutest thing is when you sing the “I Love You” song she goes around hugging everyone in the room.  Those Barney DVDs aren’t that bad either...actually a lot mor tolerable than some.  Curious George is the bomb though.  Best thing is after each episode it reminds you..."Curious George is a monkey and he can do thigns you can’t do.” Love the disclaimer!  check out my facebook page to see her cute pics...not sure if I have any of her Curious George B-day party up though....gotta go to the wife’s for that.

Spongebob does rock, I watch it all the time with my son.  The one CD the kids liked growing up with the Sharaon, Lois and Bram one.....The kids thoughtthey should play it in the truck for over 2 hours on the way home from a family trip.  I wore earplugs the whole time and had the best drive ever smile

In canada you are sent to parental training for not letting your kids do that.

Down here in the South they will let you beat your kids for even asking to do that.

it was actually a pretty good way to drive...didn’t hear the kids, ex wife or the music.....most peaceful drive I have had.....too bad that was only 2 hours of the 15 it took to get home smile

Wierd Al is turing into a popular favorite with the kids now, which is good cause I used to listen to him all the time smile
