Jewelry


 

Jewelries in MD are special items usually worn on hands (1 ring for each hand) and your neck (1 amulet/necklace). Usually most jewelries have another purpose other then just letting a player look pretty, or the nice price offered at a general store (they can be a easy way to get money), they also might give increased Armor class or other special effects.

Noteworthy jewelries that give benefits to their wearer:

Rings:
Silver Ring: +1ac to the whole body (could also give light)
A mage skilled in fire magic found south Vesla carries this glowing ring proudly

There are rumors that there are other mages within the lands who were able to produce similar rings.

Emerald Ring:+1ac to whole body (level limited to 17 and under only)
A Lord in western Candera who has some skills in the arcane arts considers this ring his treasure.

It is rumored that the entrance to his manor is hidden and he has posted guards as well as even attack dogs to protect his treasures.

Pig Iron Ring: +ac1 to to whole body (lvl 6s and under only)
(As I remember!) Found on a crazed lady who lives near the exedoria magician tower.

Some adventurers report that she has ties to the occult and may curse you if you attempt to take the ring from her!

Pitted Iron Ring: Does not provide AC but gives darkness
A sacrilegious Pylus temple warden carries this ring snugly in a bag.

Amulets:
Purple Gemstone Amulet: +1ac to whole body
A crazed cleric in northern Exedoria sometimes carries this amulet along with other treasure (random spawn item)

Brown Medallion:+1ac to whole body + something more
A captain along the western wall of Candera carries this on his body. It is rumored that he is skilled in some occult arts that are well suited for the desert climate he lives in.

Jeweled Necklace +2ac to whole body
A noble Lady of Island skilled in swordplay can be found west of a main intersection.

There are rarer jewelries located in the realms:
Some rumored able to provide astounding protection or others allowing for supernatural feats like improved physical/spiritual regeneration or even allowing one to become berserker-like.
