Moira, the Delightful

Moira is the cleric god of mischief, who specializes in indirect damage prayers and one on one combat.

Pros:
-ability to have Moira’s shield (one of the best protection type spells a cleric can have)
-ability to give some weapon specials
-ability to badly injure (if not kill) strong npcs using Divine Intervention
-allows for increased chances of hitting opponents while increased chances of evading hits
-strong for attacking single targets at a time

Cons:
-Moira’s Shield restricts you to 1, 1 handed weapon - thus lowering offense even more
-weapons restricted to blunt
-devotion drops rather rapidly
-most prayers take a long time to cast
-most prayers only work best 1 vs 1
-most prayers are very random
-extremely fickle (changes alliances with gods almost every boot, requiring you to check on her every time you start playing or you risk losing hours (if not days) of hard work)

Devotion:
(i cant say this for lower levels as i only started for moira at lvl 15+)
With Protection/bless/wings/touch, you should be able to get to saint easily, however for avatar you need to use guidance every now and then. Another way you could go about this would be to spam guidance on every target you fight as it gives good devotion. (As normally to get devotion fast, you pray as much as you can, but since almost all of Moira’s prayers are prayers that can only be cast every few minutes, like touch/bless/protection, your limited to guidance/wings/twist for fast devotion.)

Tips:
Wings give really good added offense, as well as being a life saver when the winged delights appear while cornered.
Also Moira’s Divine Intervention (or DI) allows you the offense to kill extremely strong monsters normally way out of your league. (again the devotion tips apply, see tips under Ledah) Also, Moira’s Protection might drop faster then normal depending on how much damage you receive, so check often while fighting strong npcs!

Her prayers include:

Level/Name
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>(5) blessing

Moira’s bless is slightly different from the other cleric gods in that while allowing for a stat increase, it is random in what stats it increases and also how much it increases
(affected mostly by devotion, wisdom and by your level)

>(5) detection of evil

allows you to see your target’s alignment
(higher devotion allows for this prayer to last longer)

>(5) moira’s shield

Allows you to summon one of the best shields in the game. However as it is a shield, you can only wield ONE, 1-handed weapon, as in your offense will almost be cut in half.

(It has been suggested by players that this shield gives better “protection” then the protection prayers given by the cleric gods)

(Moira’s shield evolves as your devotion/level goes up, going from a small round shield to finally a tower shield at being an Avatar in Moira)

>(7) wings of delight

A prayer that gives you weapon specials on weapons (or shields, however i do not know of any specials it gives to shields) that you’ve cast on, requires that you wield the weapon/shield while you cast this prayer and also that you do not unwield while the prayer is in effect or it will be lost (and you will have to recast)

Specials (these are guesses):
-Some sort of increased accuracy in hitting
-some sort of increased damage
-slight chance that you will summon winged delights, whos numbers will vary (basically tiny faeries that will fight against your opponent)

>(9) atonement

when used for a certain god, you attempt to ask for forgiveness (can only be used if your between infidel and
sinner)

>(10) twist of fate

A very random prayer, which when used will give a set of bonus’s or have detrimental effects on you. When cast twist will use another god (you need to have another god with at least Skeptic devotion in order to use this prayer) along with Moira to give a random set of effects to both you and your opponent(s).

Effects from Ledah/Yasuo (include but are not limited to):
-Unluckiness in combat
-Falling/Tripping (damages)
-Random Natural Occurrences (damages/both you and opponent)
-Invisible Target on <specific body limb> (both)
-Rebound Shield (on yourself- very rare)
-Luck in combat (only you)
-Increased Guidance for blows (only you)
-Mini bless:
increases a specific but random stat by one or two raises (only you)
-Healing (both depending on opponent’s alignment)

(at Avatar for Moira, you will receive three or more effects per cast of twist and you can cast twist multiple times)

>(11) protection

Moira’s protection (works against any alignment), like all her other prayers, are unusual in the way that while not providing the best of protection (unlike Yasuo’s and Ledah’s Protections), it returns a set amount of damage to your opponents after recieving a certain amount from opponents. However (read carefully!) If you recieve too much damage while under Moira’s Protection, it might end faster then it normally lasts (so always remember to check if your protection is up while fighting against a tough opponent)

>(13) touch of moira

A powerful (i personally feel its one of Moira’s most powerful/useful prayers) prayer that gives you a higher chance to avoid getting hit, while at higher devotion giving you an increased chance of hitting your opponent.

(prayer affected mostly by devotion)

>(15) guidance

This prayer allows for a huge increase in chance of hitting a specific target on your opponent (draw backs include long casting time and only able to cast once on an opponent).

It has also been said that this prayer only affects the cleric who cast it and no one else, and that the effects of it is much better if you cast at the opponents body (where most hits are directed, see limbs)

>(17) divine intervention

Basically the most powerful prayer for a Moira cleric (it gives the Cleric incredibly high indirect damage), it summons a portal from which summons will pour out and deal specific type damage (see damage types), requires that both the cleric and the opponent remains in the room.

Types (include but are not limited to):

-Spring Chicken: Physical damage
-Floating Pen: Acid/slight physical Damage
-Banana Split: Death Damage
-Rainbow Trout: Ice Damage
-Thunder Cloud: Lightning Damage
