Shroud, the Lord of Death
Shroud is the Lord of Death, first worshiped by the ancient cleric Myrkul Blackrose. He urges his followers to destroy the living, and shun the healing arts for those that may kill. As such, he is in constant conflict with Ledah, except in their joint desire to eradicate necromancers and the undead. Shroud is often delighted by Antiu’s work, though recognizes that in peace, too does Death reign king.
Prayers
As worshipers of moral decay’s god of death, clerics of Shroud specialize in directing their prayers to damage their enemies.
(it has been said by players, though not proven, that Shroud and Ledah give the best stat increase for blesses out of all 5 gods)
Pros:
-highest damage potential out of all 5 gods
-area of effect prayers
-high damage prayers
-no alignment requirement for prayers
-no weapon restriction
-strong weapon specials
Cons:
-bad defensive spells
-extremely difficult to go 2 gods before aristo
-use of the blue laen staff results in loss of devotion
-not as good of a party member as the other gods
