Yasuo, the Serene

Yasuo is Moral Decay’s clerical god of peace, who specializes in defensive abilities as well as mana regenerative abilities.

Pros:
-ability to have the possibly one of the best 2h Hammers in the game (2h meaning two-handed, see weapons)
-ability to regain mana incredibly fast
-bless increases max mana by a certain amount (increases as devotion/level goes up)
-good party member (especially with mages)
-ability to remove curses
-one of the three required gods who are able to have 3 gods before aristo (the required three are Ledah/Yasuo/Moira)

Cons:
-no direct damage spells
-no good indirect damage spells
-bless isnt that strong
-hard to keep devotion due to not having many active spells that give good devotion per use
-hard to play alone as most spells are party spells
-low offense
-most prayers only work against evil aligned
-alignment requirements for most prayers

Devotion:
The easiest way to get devotion at lower levels would be keeping protection/hammer/serene aura up then to cast spiritual healing each time before you drink alcohol (and arent in combat, unless your con is high enough), Aversion will help tons in getting devotion too
(however i found that spiritual healing helps devotion the most)

Tips:
Personally i dont find Yasuo as a good main god, i would really suggest (if you want yasuo) to go for him as a secondary, also spiritual healing a few times before drinking helps tons in regaining mana (as well as getting devotion)

(5) blessing

Yasuo’s bless is unique in that while increasing stats like the blesses from other gods, it also increases your max mana by a certain amount.
(blessing is affected mainly by devotion, wisdom, and level)

(5) detection of evil

allows you to see your target’s alignment
(higher devotion allows for this prayer to last longer)

(5) light

allows for a light source to be created on you, basically a good light spell that clerics of any gods could use
(with the exception being antiu clerics)

(6) aversion

when cast on target (has to be an opponent who attacked you first or is evil) this spell will aid all who opposes that target, effects arent known but it has been speculated that this spell drains health and possibly stops healing.

(7) removal of curse

allows for removal of curses (from people/npcs as well as objects), however the prayer has a chance where it might not be able to remove the curse as well as failing in the normal way of just not getting cast at all.

(9) spiritual hammer

allows you to summon a strong 2-handed hammer, hammer has many specials (mostly against-evil), this hammer gives huge devotion when summoned and also devotion if the cleric uses it in combat

(hammer’s WC, see weapon-class, and specials increase in strength as devotion goes up)

(9) atonement

when used for a certain god, you attempt to ask for forgiveness (can only be used if your between infidel and
sinner)

(10) spiritual healing

allows you to sacrifice health in exchange for mana for you or a target, (max mana given per spiritual heal is about 50-60), this spell will target your head the most and will not allow you to cast it if:

-your head is at or beyond mildly inujred
-your other limbs are at badly injured
-your target isnt good aligned

(10) eternal rest

prayer combines both shroud and yasuo’s power to allow you to gain mana whenever you kill an opponent (however there will be no corpse left), it does not require that you land the killing blow, but that you kill the target before the spell ends. Also yasuo will grant more mana if you bring about the final rest of an evil being.

(11) protection

gives you protection against any damage done against you
(for Ledah and Yasuo this protection is only limited to
“evil” aligned enemies.)

(12) sanctified aura

a strong protection type prayer that greatly reduces damage
from “evil” aligned enemies(requires both Ledah and
Yasuo while you cant cast it on yourself, only on a
target who has to be “Nice” aligned or higher)

(14) serene aura

prayer that allows you to regain mana faster then normal (at higher devotion levels) as well as greating reducing the chance that an npc will auto attack you

(17) sanctuary

creates a sanctuary within the room your in, so that no combat may be started or continued within that room (effects last really long 2 hours - whole boot, and you can cast multiple sanctuaries, it seems however that the more sanctuaries you cast the less time they’ll last, e.g. normally with just 1 sanctuary it lasts a whole boot, while with 4-5 they last about 2-3 hours)

(17) divine intervention

powerful prayer that requires for followers of Ledah and
Yasuo to be at least of “Nice” alignment and if the god
you prayed to decides to interceed, evildoers will be
punished while the forces of good rewarded
