durability

Redirected from: broken

Everything is subject to wear and tear, even armours and weapons of the highest quality.

Wear and Tear
Armour pieces will get dented and destroyed when taking too many blows from your enemies (even more so when the hits are harder than normal). Heavier armours are able to withstand more blows before needing to be replaced.

Weapons too will chip and break based on how often you hit, and how high your skills are. As with armor, high quality weapons will also be able to take a longer beating before becoming unusable.

Aging
All equipment items in the world of moral decay, have a lifespan of only 6 hours, (see boot), before they break.
This time is calculated from the instant an NPC drops the item, or when the item is found by using the “search” command.

Note:
Even items that have been protected by a mage’s spell will still age and then turn to dust.
