Indel
Background
Indel, the Jewel of the South, is a hub of commerce and shipping, benevolently ruled by King Ittendil and Queen Valence. The city has grown from its humble beginnings as a small port in the Fourth Age, and many a merchant has accumulated great wealth. However, the majority of the denizens still live in shantytowns surrounding the great merchant estates.
Points of Interest
The Casino - Located on Pier Street in the harbour district, and known for its fabulous winner-takes-all death matches. Many fortunes have been made and lost betting on the fights.
The Castle - Home to the King and Queen, it is the center of the city.
Various Merchants - Various merchants have set up shop in Indel, from alchemists to dark mages to tattoo parlours.
Merchant Estates - The great merchant families of Indel have squirreled away much wealth in their estates. Some harbour evil secrets as well.
Myconid Tunnels - A section of the Underdark recently opened below the Pier Street Inn.
