Newbie Information

First off, I would like to welcome you all to Moral Decay.

Things are a bit different here than others, we’ve got an awesome combat
system, including limbs - player run guilds, and much, MUCH more!
I’ll start off by naming the classes, and give a bit of information on each.

Barbarians: The barbarians are a clan of stinky, meat eating brutes. They wear
only leather and cloth, with the exception of certain special items.

Clerics: A holy order of paladins and priests. There are two routes to choose
from - but choose wisely, as the cost to revert is painful.

Druids: A mystical class full of earthen powers and animal helpers. Druids wear
leather, cloth, and wood with the exception of certain special items.

Fighters: A brotherhood of warriors with phenomenal weapon skills.

Mages: Masters of the arcane and everything in between! There are five schools
to choose from; Abjuration, Conjuration, Enchantment, Illusionist, and
Invokers. Mages only wear cloaks, with the exception of certain special items.

Monks: A peaceful order of brothers. Monks can only wear cloth, with the
exception of certain special items.

Necromancers: An evil brotherhood of occult magics, raising the dead and
wreaking havoc upon their enemies. They can only wear certain armor classes,
and are SWORN ENEMIES of clerics.

Thieves: A sneaky band of cutpurses, they will rob you blind and leave not a
trace. Thieves may only wear certain armor classes.

-- Now I will explain player run guilds.

Armor guilds: Every class has their own specific armor classes and materials,
as listed above. Armorers provide armor to players, and upon their own
discretion can choose which type of armor they provide. They provide armor for
players starting out in the beginning of a reboot.

Banks: Player run banks provide loans, and a place to store your silver. Some
banks also have vaults, which upon customization of items, allow you to store
weapons and armor inside for another time.

Bars: Bars provide alcohol with healing properties. (Note: Monks don’t drink!)

Corpse Processors: These player run guilds provide silver in exchange for
corpses, which in-turn, get turned into ‘food’ lots for bars to churn out
booze.

Smelters: Smelter guilds provide silver to players in exchange for
metals, which in-turn, gets turned into armor and weapons for you to start out
a reboot with!

Weaponries: Weapon smiths provide weapons to players for a reboot rush! If you
are needing a weapon made for your strength, contact the owner of a weapon guild!
Chances are, they’ll make you a weapon fit just for you!

-- Now, on to combat!

Moral Decay’s combat system is unique. There are six limbs on each player,
two arms, two legs, a head, and a body. In such, there are also limb states.
If your arm reaches ”mildly injured,” that arm will be unwielded of any weapons.
If your leg gets destroyed, you will find it much harder to walk around.
If your head or body gets destroyed, you DIE!

The current limb states are as applies:
Bruises, scratches, wounded, badly wounded, mildly injured, badly injured, terribly
injured, nearly severed/beyond natural healing, and destroyed.

The <wimpy> command provides a means to run away once any limb reaches a certain,
set percent. As such, 50% is “mildly injured.”

Each class has their own special abilities, as well. You can reach the help files on
most before classing, by typing “help <class>” - with <class> being the class you
want to know more about. Once you have classed, you can learn more about your class
by typing <class>help - with “class” being the first letter of your class, such as
“fhelp” for fighters, “dhelp” for druids, and so on.

-- Zones!

There are seven major cities in Moral Decay. Within the first room of each city
there is a sign that provides information and locations of each player owned
guild within it.

The names of these seven major cities are: Anshelm, Candera, Exedoria, Indel, The Island,
Pylus, and Vesla.

The directions to said cities aren’t hard to memorize, as once you are outside of
Vesla (where you start!), which is called “Vent”, or “Vesent” by most - there is a
straight line to each city.

Anshelm is a mountainous city located north of Vesla.
Candera is a desert city located west of Vesla.
Exedoria is a bustling city located east of Vesla.
Indel is a large castle city located south of Vesla.
You can sail to the Island by going southwest of Vesla.
Pylus is a small town of amazons located east and a few paces south of Vesla.
Vesla is the city you will start in, and is also where you login at (unless changed by YOU!)
