Pylus
Background
Located in the vast eastern plains, southwest of Exedoria, is a small town of fiercely independent Amazons. Although their town and civilization is quite old, they had remained a mere mystery in the Realms because their town was closed to all xenos, or strangers.
The murder of their queen prompted her daughter to open the city to the brave adventurers from the outside in the hopes that one of them could find the murderer. Now that the town is opened, it can never be closed again.
The cobble stoned paths, the marble buildings with their Dorian capped pillars and columns, the women in their togas and laced sandals all combine to give Pylus the feeling of being set back a thousand years, in a different time and a completely different place. But as beautiful as Pylus is, there is more to it than meets the eye. There are Cyclops, pirates, thieves, the descendants of Grog, and powerfully dark forces in Pylus as well.
Pylus is 17 east and 2 south of the Busy Intersection.
